Our guidelines
PenSam sets high standards for the ethics of our investments. We do this because we – and our members - believe that ethical considerations are important when investing. And fortunately, ethics and investments are compatible.
We base our code of ethics on several international conventions and consider whether the companies we invest in:
- Respect fundamental human rights
- Adhere to international principles concerning environmental factors and healthy work places
- Do not contribute to the production or development of cluster bombs, nuclear weapons or any sub-components used exclusively for such weapons
When investing in Nordic companies, we also require that they have entered into collective agreements.
